Camping Aug 6-9

We finally was able to take a camping trip this year.  We went up South Fork canyon to the Willows campground.  We went with Grandpa and Grandma Clough.  We had a blast.  Our good friends the Bettridges were the campground hosts this year so it was even better because we got to hang with them all weekend.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  The twins got a little adventurous this time and they stayed in the tent 2 out of the 3 nights that we were there...they said that they had fun.  We of course had fun because we werent cramped in the trailer plenty of room to move around.  The kids played in the river and rode their bikes and just had fun with their friends.  Thank you Dad & Mom for inviting us to go!! Thank you Bettridges for having us in your campground and playing with us!!

NEW HOUSE!!!!

On July 1st we moved into our new home. We love it here. We moved from renting a 3 bedroom 1 bath house to owning a 3 bedroom 3 bath house with a room and bathroom in the basement to finish. Can I tell you how nice it is to finally not have to share a bathroom with 4 boys I LOVE IT!!! We are loving our neighbors and love our new ward everyone is very nice. Here are a few pics of the house more to come later.

This is the front of course...we have a little waterfall in the front. We have enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the waterfall at night.

This is the formal living room.  You cant see it very well in the photo but we have the first verse of "Praise to the Man" on the wall and a canvas print of the prophet.  We love this room it has been so nice to have a place to sit and have FHE and a place to sit and think.

This is the Kitchen. We fell in love with this kitchen it has everything we wanted and more.  It has High Mac counters and it has tile throughout the whole main floor.  We have tons of cupboard space and counter space.  We have enjoyed it a lot.

This is the family room.  It is so nice to have a room to put the TV and not have to have it in the living room.  It is a very large room and we have such an open floor plan that it can be seen from the kitchen.

This is the covered patio.  It is nice to BBQ and be able to eat in the shade and let the kids play outside.

This is the backyard.  We have a huge garden and a lot of room for the kids to play.

Well that is the New House...we love it.    We welcome all of our friends and family to come and see us and play at our new house. 

4th of July!!

Our 4th of July was a little crazy this year..we moved right in the middle of it all.  We started moving two days before and we moved two days after.  We did celebrate it with family.  We have a family tradition were we spend the night at my uncle Jeff's house the night before and then we get up and have breakfast and go to the Clearfield parade.  Well with us moving we were both exhausted so we sent our kids to stay over night.  Thank you Grandma and Aunt Shelly and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Carolee for taking care of them...they had a blast!!!  We went over in the morning and had breakfast and then went to the parade... we then hung out at their house all day and then watched Fireworks that night...it was a fun filled Schofield day!!!

CATCH UP

I am playing CATCH UP so if you will bear with me I will get my blog updated.  It has been awhile since I was on here.  So sorry for all the post at one time.  I will try to do better.

Jex's Favorite thing to do

SWINGING!!!! He loves to swing, he will go out and swing for hours. These were taken at the Dinosaur Park but he doesnt care where as long as there is a swing he will swing.

Jex's Graduation

Jex had his Preschool Graduation and it was so cute.  He loves school, he will surely miss not going over the summer.  He will be going to a learning center next year and they will intergrade him into Kindergarten.  He will do Awesome he is such a good student.  He has done so well this year and we are proud of him.  The first slide show is of his regular education pre-school and the second is of his functional skills preschool.  He was able to attend graduation for both classes.  WAY TO GO JEX!!!

Ever since I was little my dad has wanted to go out rock hunting and Geod hunting. We of course being girls never wanted to go so when grandsons came along he has waited for them to be old enough. So we finally went ROCK HUNTING. I am so glad we never had to go when I was little what a long drive. We did have a lot of fun and we did find a lot of rocks. The boys of course had more fun than we did. It was a nice little get away.
